Happy March 1st! February was a pretty fast moving month for me this year, which to be honest is rare. For most northern Michiganders, February is one of those cold, snowy brutal winter months that you long to put behind you. Fortunately this year, my family and I spent the first two weeks of the month in Florida, which was great for soaking up some sunshine and not so great for getting work done. I still wrote everyday, but I found myself a bit stalled with Sky Mothers, my fourth Born of Shadows book. I also severely neglected social media and my mailing list during that time. For me, the hardest part of working as an indie author is balancing all the ‘other stuff.’ Marketing, social media and general contact is not my strong suit. Some days, I’m all about it, but those are the minority. I find it much easier to get lost in a story than to get lost in writing ad copy-I’m sure I’m not alone on that one. Still I have some exciting updates to share and I encourage you to reach out if you have questions about upcoming books in the series, writing questions or just want to say hi.
Updates…
Sky Mothers is Available on Pre-Order: The fourth book in my Born of Shadows Series is available on Amazon for pre-order with a release date of April 24th.
I recently released a boxed set of the first three books in the Born of Shadows Series. This includes Ula, Sorciere and Kanti. This set will always be discounted below the cost of buying the three books individually. I’m also giving away three of the boxed sets to random winners who join my Facebook Group (see info below).
I’ve created a new Facebook Group. Facebook has recently made some changes to its algorithms, which makes it less likely that anything I share on my Facebook page will show up in your news feed. Thus I’ve created a group. I share a lot of information on contests as well as book news and just fun pictures, articles etc. I’m giving away three Ebook boxed sets at the end of March to readers who join the group, you can join the group here.
That’s it for updates. Enjoy tonight’s full moon!
